Rare Gas

稀有气体服务There are seven types of rare gases, which are helium (He), neon (Ne), argon (Ar), krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe), radon (Rn, radioactivity), oganesson (Og, radioactivity, artificial element). Og is an extremely unstable synthetic rare gas with a short half-life of only 5 milliseconds. The air contains helium (He), neon (Ne), argon (Ar), krypton (Kr) and xenon (Xe) rare gases, which are the main raw materials for producing rare gases. The rare gases can be attained by fractional distillation of liquid air to obtain the mixture of rare gases. Then use the activated carbon low-temperature selective adsorption method to separate different types of rare gases. Rare gases are colorless, odorless, and tasteless. They are slightly soluble in water, and their solubility increases with the increase of molecular weight. Rare gases are generally monoatomic with low melting points and boiling points, which increase with atomic weight. They can be liquefied at low temperatures. Our air separation units can generate Ar, Kr, and Xe if required.

Air separation equipment has made great contributions to the new energy industry. For example, hydrogen which can be separated from the coal for application of chemical technological process in air separation equipment, application of high purity nitrogen equipment in lithium battery industry, applications of high purity oxygen and nitrogen in photovoltaic industry, etc.
